Bundesliga to Open Additional Transfer Window for Club World Cup

The Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 will open an exceptional transfer window from June 1 to June 10, ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup. The German Football League (DFL) announced that this move comes after FIFA permitted member associations to register new players in advance of the tournament. The 32-team Club World Cup is set to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13, 2025. Top Bundesliga teams, including Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich, are expected to participate, with the additional transfer period providing an opportunity to further bolster their squads ahead of the international showdown.
