Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey has been cleared to resume basketball activities after being sidelined with a broken left fibula since January 1. Now 23, Ivey is set to begin the first phase of a re-conditioning program, with the team promising another update on his progress in approximately two weeks.

This update comes as the Pistons have clinched their first playoff appearance since 2019, holding the sixth seed in the Eastern Conference with three games remaining in the regular season. Prior to his injury, Ivey was averaging 17.6 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.0 assists in 30 games this season, bolstering his overall career numbers since being drafted fifth overall by the Pistons in 2022.
