Michigan State Moves Final 2025 Home Football Game to Ford Field in Detroit

Michigan State University announced that its final football game of the 2025 regular season against Maryland will be moved from Spartan Stadium to Ford Field in Detroit. This decision comes on the heels of a highly successful 2023 matchup at Ford Field that attracted nearly 52,000 fans, underscoring the positive connection between the Spartans and the city.

Athletic Director Alan Haller highlighted the benefit of playing in an NFL stadium while also emphasizing the tremendous support from fans. The game, now scheduled for November 29, 2025, offers a unique opportunity for the student-athletes to build on the momentum from previous seasons and further strengthen MSU's athletic profile.
