Ukraine says new Russian missile and bomb attack hits Sumy after deadly strike

On April 14, 2025, Ukraine reported that Russian forces launched a missile and guided bomb attack on the outskirts of Sumy, just a day after a previous strike killed 35 civilians and injured 119. Ukrainian officials maintain that the attack was aimed at civilian areas, intensifying accusations that Russia is deliberately targeting non-military sites.

Russian sources, however, claim the missile struck a meeting of Ukrainian military officers, allegedly killing over 60 soldiers.
