Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy has outlined plans to establish a multinational troop contingent in Ukraine. European military planners are set to finalize the details by mid-April 2025, focusing on security along Ukrainian land, sea, and airspace as part of efforts to support a potential peace agreement with Russia.
Following recent high-level meetings in Kyiv with British and French military chiefs and key Ukrainian commanders, further discussions have been scheduled, including weekly sessions to firm up operational plans. The initiative, which comes on the same day as a fatal Russian missile strike in Kryvyi Rih, is designed to ensure long-term security and reflects the readiness of Ukraine's international partners to address the country’s complex security needs.
