Juventus, the Italian soccer club controlled by the Agnelli family, announced plans to stabilize its finances following the departure of manager Thiago Motta. With a disappointing season that left the club in fifth position in Serie A, Juventus has replaced Motta with Igor Tudor. On March 29, 2025, top shareholder Exor committed 15 million euros (approximately $16 million) in anticipation of a potential share issue to help address the club’s cash needs.
Over the past six years, Juventus has raised nearly 900 million euros from its shareholders. The cash injection could be anywhere from 15 million euros to 10% of the club's market value, with a final decision expected after the current season and summer transfer period. Despite facing previous setbacks—including a 10-point deduction and a European competition ban due to accounting issues, which the club denies—Juventus remains committed to its strategic targets through 2027.
