Kennywood amusement park in West Mifflin is set to open its 127th season on April 12, 2025, marking a historic return as the park coincides with 412 Day for the first time since 1931. The season will see the much-anticipated return of the Steel Curtain rollercoaster, a fan favorite that promises thrilling rides throughout the season.

Adding to the excitement, the park will debut Kennywood Junction, a new steel-town-themed area that replaces Thomas Town. This area introduces five reimagined rides, a celebration space, and a retail shop, enriching the overall park experience. Guests can also enjoy the Eggcellent Celebration running on weekends from April 12 to 27, with additional events on April 18 and 21 that feature over 150 oversized Easter eggs, giant chocolate bunnies, themed photo opportunities, and meet-and-greets with the new mascot, Tuft the Bunny. Ticket and season pass discounts of up to 50% further sweeten the seasonal kick-off, ensuring a memorable experience for all visitors.
