However, the report also shows that 43% feel less financially secure than the previous year, even as the average savings in 2024 reached about $7,460. At the same time, credit card debt increased to roughly $8,295, highlighting ongoing financial challenges.
The survey, published on January 7, 2025, also underscores concerns about inflation with 54% of respondents expecting it to affect their finances in the coming year.
