Chicago to Host Exclusive U.S. Retrospective for Yoko Ono

Chicago will be the only U.S. city to showcase Yoko Ono's groundbreaking retrospective, Yoko Ono: Music of the Mind, at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Chicago. Opening in October 2025, the exhibition features over 200 works—including music scores, installations, a curated music room, films, photography, and archival materials—that trace Ono’s journey beginning in the mid-1950s.

Visitors can immerse themselves in interactive and educational experiences while witnessing billboards around the city that highlight Ono’s peace-driven art. The show is set to run from October 18, 2025, to February 22, 2026, offering a unique glimpse into the evolution of one of art’s most influential pioneers.
