NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced on Wednesday that NATO allies have committed more than 20 billion euros (approximately $21.65 billion) in military assistance to Ukraine during the first quarter of 2025. This funding is aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s defenses in its ongoing fight against Russian aggression, a conflict that has now lasted for three years.

Foreign ministers from NATO nations are scheduled to meet in Brussels on Thursday and Friday to discuss additional support measures for Ukraine. The meeting promises to further outline how the alliance will continue its substantive backing of Ukraine, reinforcing commitments made in previous assessments and discussions.

These developments underscore NATO's sustained efforts to bolster Ukraine's military capabilities at a time when the geopolitical stakes remain high.
