Microsoft has unveiled new AI agents designed specifically for sales, marking another step in its drive to streamline workflows for improved efficiency. The company announced the launch on March 5, 2025, with two key tools—Sales Agent and Sales Chat—integrated into platforms like Dynamics 365 and Salesforce. Sales Agent is built to autonomously handle tasks such as researching leads and scheduling meetings, while Sales Chat aids sales representatives with natural language prompts to prepare for client interactions.
The new solutions are integrated with Microsoft 365 Copilot, expanding the suite of productivity tools available to sales teams. The agents, which will be available for public preview in May, underscore Microsoft’s broader strategy to create task-specific AI applications that directly address industry challenges and boost overall performance.
