Warner Music Group Names Former Activision Blizzard Executive as New CFO

Warner Music Group has announced that Armin Zerza, a former CFO and chief commercial officer at Activision Blizzard, will join the company as its new Chief Financial Officer effective May 5, 2025. Zerza, who played a pivotal role in Activision Blizzard's $69-billion acquisition by Microsoft, brings a wealth of experience from both the gaming and consumer sectors, including a notable tenure at Procter & Gamble.

Warner Music Group, known for representing top artists like Ed Sheeran and Dua Lipa, expressed strong confidence in Zerza’s ability to drive the company’s long-term strategy. CEO Robert Kyncl emphasized that the appointment will further benefit the company’s artists, songwriters, investors, employees, and partners as it evolves its financial and strategic planning for the future.
