Colorado Buffaloes Join Inaugural College Basketball Crown NIL Tournament

The Colorado Buffaloes men's basketball team is set to compete in the inaugural College Basketball Crown tournament in Las Vegas. This new postseason event, running from March 31 through April 6, offers 16 teams a chance to secure up to $500,000 in Name, Image, and Likeness brand ambassador deals. Notable programs, including Arizona State, Cincinnati, UCF, and Utah, are among the invited schools that missed the NCAA tournament field.

The Buffs will open their campaign against the Villanova Wildcats on Tuesday, April 1 at 6:30 p.m. MT at the MGM Garden Grand Arena. The game will be broadcast on FS1, providing fans with an exciting look at post-season college basketball and the growing impact of NIL deals on the sport.
