FIFA President Infantino Promotes Expanded 2025 Club World Cup in the U.S.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is actively promoting the inaugural 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, set to take place from June 15 to July 13 across 11 U.S. cities. The tournament, featuring 32 clubs including Real Madrid, Manchester City, Flamengo, Inter Miami, and Seattle Sounders, will culminate in a final at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium. Each host city will benefit from a $1 million allocation by FIFA, supporting local projects and improved soccer infrastructure.

During recent promotional events in cities such as Philadelphia and Miami, Infantino reaffirmed FIFA’s commitment to ensuring a safe and globally celebrated event by collaborating with U.S. authorities on security measures and visa facilitation. With the competition also serving to build momentum for the 2026 FIFA World Cup across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, the expansion of the Club World Cup underscores FIFA's strategy to enhance the sport's profile in North America.
