Bessemer Venture Partners has successfully raised $350 million for its second India-focused fund, which is set to back early-stage startups in sectors including AI-enabled services, fintech, SaaS, digital health, consumer brands, and cybersecurity. The fund, announced on March 12, 2025, is scheduled to begin allocations by mid-2025 and reflects the firm’s continued commitment to supporting India’s dynamic startup ecosystem.
This latest fundraising follows Bessemer's first India fund, which raised $220 million in 2021 and invested in startups such as Boldfit and Pepper Content. With a long-standing presence in India since 2006 and a robust portfolio featuring companies like Swiggy, Ola, and BigBasket, Bessemer—managing $18 billion globally—remains a key player in driving innovative growth across the region. The new fund also comes amid broader market movements, following similar announcements from Accel and Stellaris Venture Partners.
