Fox Corp's CEO Lachlan Murdoch announced that the company’s upcoming subscription streaming service is expected to attract subscribers in the mid-single-digit millions. Set to launch by the end of 2025 and timed to coincide with the next NFL season, the new platform is aimed at diversifying revenue streams while reaching audiences beyond traditional cable television. Former Apple TV+ executive Pete Distad has been tapped to lead the venture.

The service will offer a robust mix of Fox programming, including sports, TV shows, documentaries, and news content, reinforcing the shift from cable to online streaming. Murdoch also pointed to the strong growth of Fox Nation, which now boasts between 2 million and 2.5 million subscribers, partly driven by acclaimed documentary projects supported by industry figures like Martin Scorsese. Additional reports note that the service will be competitively priced, further positioning Fox to capture a diverse consumer base in an evolving media landscape.
