Cuyahoga County Executive Chris Ronayne has established the new task force, Cuyahoga LIVE!, to strengthen the live music industry in Northeast Ohio. Born out of the 2023 Greater Cleveland Music Census—which surveyed nearly 2,800 industry professionals—the initiative aims to address the need for improved marketing, audience development, and greater inclusivity within the local music scene.
In its first steps, the task force has been organizing committees dedicated to enhancing audience growth, workforce development, and artist support. The initial meeting was held last month, and the next session is scheduled for June 17, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing collaboration between local government and the live entertainment sector.
