CEO Peggy Johnson has pointed out that this innovation could help fill over a million vacant jobs across the U.S. Currently, Digit is deployed at facilities like GXO and Amazon, with GXO even paying $30 per hour for its services.
Recent developments have bolstered Digit’s market presence. On March 28, 2025, Agility Robotics announced a partnership with Ricoh USA to enhance customer support as the company prepares for larger deployments across North America. Just a few days later, on March 31, 2025, the company made strategic executive appointments to strengthen its commercialization efforts. While initial operations keep Digit in isolated areas for safety, future plans include having it work side-by-side with human workers by the end of 2025.
