Walmart is reportedly gearing up to launch its new Onn 4K Plus streaming device, potentially bridging the gap left by discontinued Chromecast models. The device supports 4K video output with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos, is powered by a quad-core processor (possibly the Amlogic S905X5M), and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Early reports, including details from as recent as April 2025, suggest that the Onn 4K Plus is already being tested by select users.

Initial feedback has highlighted its affordability and ease of use. While exact pricing details remain under wraps, the new model appears poised to slot between Walmart’s basic Onn 4K box and its higher-end Onn 4K Pro, which is currently priced at $49.88. With public release anticipated soon, the device could mark a significant step in Walmart’s effort to offer a competitive, Google TV-based streaming solution.
