Anti-Trump Protests in Chicago Expected to Draw Thousands

Thousands of demonstrators are expected to converge on Chicago this Saturday as part of the nationwide 'Hands Off!' movement. The main protest is scheduled to take place at Chicago’s Daley Center at noon, with additional local events planned throughout the day. Organizers say the protest is a response to what they describe as drastic changes in political, economic, social, and legal policies under the Trump administration.

As reported by several sources on April 3, over 1,100 rallies and related events are set to occur across all 50 states, marking what is anticipated to be the largest single-day protest since President Trump took office. The movement has also led to adjustments in related events, such as the postponement of White House garden tours, as demonstrators rally against policies affecting Social Security, federal workforce layoffs, consumer protections, immigrant rights, and transgender issues.
