At Nvidia’s GTC 2025 conference, CEO Jensen Huang introduced the company’s latest AI innovations: the Blackwell Ultra and Vera Rubin chips. Highlighting the evolution of AI from basic computer vision to generative and agentic systems capable of complex reasoning, Nvidia also outlined its ambitious forecast of reaching $1 trillion in data center revenue by 2028 due to surging GPU demand.
The Rubin AI chip is slated for a late 2026 launch with an enhanced version, Rubin Ultra, arriving in 2027. These announcements, made during sessions on March 18 and April 09, underline Nvidia’s commitment to advancing high-performance computing and AI infrastructure, setting the stage for breakthroughs in robotics, autonomous systems, and next-generation optical networking solutions.
