At the 2025 NAB Show in Las Vegas, broadcasters and tech companies are set to highlight the next evolution in broadcasting with NextGen TV (ATSC 3.0). Now available in 76% of U.S. households across 78 viewing markets, NextGen TV delivers enhanced experiences including High Dynamic Range (HDR) video, Dolby Atmos audio, and advanced features such as emergency alert systems and direct-to-mobile streaming. Pearl TV reported that over 250,000 consumers have already engaged with the service on WatchNextGenTV.com.

The event, taking place in early April 2025, will also showcase innovative enhancements by major broadcasters like Gray Media—featuring HDR10+ and Dolby Vision for live events including the Kentucky Derby. More than two dozen global companies are presenting cutting-edge advancements at the ATSC booth (W3056), and sessions will cover topics such as smart broadcasting and AI-based real-time translations. Additional exhibitors, including household names like Samsung, Sony, and RCA, will demonstrate a range of NextGen TV sets and upgrade receivers, reinforcing the industry's rapid transformation with next-generation technologies.
